Applications: Gear Oils XD is a range of oil blends specially formulated for the lubrication of spur, helical, bevel gear and bearing in industrial equipment, as well as ships with heavy load and impact load under harsh environment and weather conditions. These oils are recommended for applications that require long service life, get little maintenance or have a very difficult maintenance system. They are widely applied in steel, cement, coal, power, petrochemical and papermaking areas, such as the reduction gearbox of conveyor, coal mill, extruder, blender mixer and other heavy equipment industry gearbox. These oils are also suitable for marine propeller, deck winch, crane, steering gear, etc., the reducer of excavator, dragline, electric-wheeled self-dumping trucks and other equipment in open-pit coal mines. Standards: Gear Oils XD meet the performance standards of DIN 51517 Part III (2014); ISO:12925-1 Type CKC/CKD; AGMA EP 9005-EO2 (EP); AISE (US STEEL): 224; David Brown S1.53.101 and Flender Gear Boxes – REVISION 9; and IS:8406/93. Advantages: The anti-wear properties of Gear Oils XD include resistance to oxidation, foam buildup, sludge and varnish formation. Their outstanding thermal stability reduces the formation of oxides at high temperatures. These oils have superior demulsibility and minimize emulsion formation in circulating systems which are usually subject to contamination with large quantities of water. They also have excellent seal compatibility. These properties combine to effectively protect gear system components against wear, rust and corrosion, even under severe high or low temperatures. They also sustain load carrying capacity and their unique anti-micro-pitting ability for gear sets reduces the risk of premature damage.
Loom Oils comprise of a range of lubricants which have been specifically designed for oil loss systems of textile looms. These oils have adequate film forming property and provide better lubrication. These are user friendly. The grades have been formulated to perform well both for boundary as well as full fluid lubrication conditions. Application Loom Oils : Loom Oils are generally suggested for non-critical all loss lubrication systems of textile and other looms which do not require additive containing oil. Loom Oil can also be used for other oiling applications of some equipment.

Turbol T grades T32, T46 and T68 are premium quality turbine oils for turbines and hydraulic systems that require very long drain intervals and a dependable lubricant with effective anti-wear properties. These turbine oils are recommended for lubrication of turbo-compressors and suitable also for lubrications of plain as well as journal type bearings in steam, gas and hydraulic turbines. Standards: Turbol T grade turbine oils are manufactured from high quality paraffinic base stock. These oils conform to performance standards of IS-1012-2002 (Reaffirmed to 2013); BS: 489-1983; OEM: BHEL and GE turbine specifications; German Standard DIN 51515; and General Electric GEK 27070. Advantages: Turbol T grade turbine oils possess very high oxidation and chemical stability to resist corrosive action. They also have excellent demulsibility, antifoaming and anti-wear properties that provide effective protection from rust and corrosion. These oils enable the release of entrained air from the system, thus preventing possible cavitations, air locks, etc. which usually affect turbine performance. These advantages add up to high thermal stability and in turn longer service life of the system.

Therm 500 and 600 are heat transfer fluids formulated using highly refined paraffinic oils with high viscosity index. These oils possess exceptional oxidation stability, high thermal conductivity and adequate specific heat to facilitate effective heat transfer. Mineral oils are generally preferred for use in heat transfer systems operating with temperatures ranging from 270 °C to 310 °C. In the operation, the heat transfer fluid is pumped to the tube furnace, gets heated and this hot oil is then passed through the process vessels from where it is conveyed back to the pump. An expansion tank of suitable design is connected to the suction side of the pump to take care of the variation in the volume. Heat Transfer Fluids have the correct viscosity; hence they are able to yield optimum heat transfer rates from well-designed systems. Applications: Therm 500 is recommended for use in heat transfer systems operating with bulk oil temperature up to 280 °C. Therm 600 provides superior performance due to its low Sulphur content and CCR value and is recommended for operating at temperature up to 300 °C. heat transfer fluids also function as lubricants for circulating pumps. Advantages: The properties of Therm heat transfer fluids 500 and 600 include low volatility and the absence of high pressure, which facilitates efficient compact units and associated space savings. Due to high boiling point they can be used without pressurization at maximum bulk temperature. These oils also generate the least amount of oxidation by-products and reduce oil change periods. There is also lower evaporation loss, and consequently a smaller difference to make up for, in oil volumes. Their low viscosity and excellent pumpability ensure lower power consumption.
