These gear oils are especially recommended for applications that require long service life, get little maintenance or have a very difficult maintenance system. They are also suitable for reduction gearbox of conveyor, coal mill, extruder, blender mixer and other heavy equipment gearbox used in steel, cement, coal, power, petrochemical and paper industries. They serve well even when used for marine propeller, deck winch, crane, steering gear, the reducer of excavator, dragline, electric-wheeled self-dumping trucks and other equipment in open-pit coal mines. Standards: Each grade in the Gear Oils XS series conforms to performance standards of DIN 51517 Part III (2014); ISO 12925-1 Type CKC/ CKD; AGMA EP 9005-EO2 (EP); AISE (US STEEL): 224; David Brown S1.53.101 and FLENDER GEAR BOXES – REVISION 9. Advantages: Gear Oils in the XS series have a high viscosity index which enables reliable and trouble-free operation even in harsh environmental conditions. Besides thermal stability they also have exceptional oxidation inhibition properties. Their unique antimicro-pitting ability for gear sets reduces the risk of premature damage. Their excellent seal compatibility, next generation additives, load carrying capacity, adequate demulsibility and superior anti-rust, anti-corrosion properties add up into effective protection and therefore longer service life of the gear.

ST Cut 52, 53, 54, 55 and 67 are a premium series of oil formulated with select refined base oils and a combination of high performance additives comprising sulphur, fat and performance chemicals. These oils are designed for lubrication and cooling of metal surfaces in severe operating condition on tough ferrous metals. They are recommended for most metal working operations, e.g. gear cutting, broaching and threading on ferrous metals and alloys, except on non-ferrous and cuprous metals. Standards: ST Cut of grades 52, 53, 54, 55 and 67 conform to IS: 3065: 1985 type 3 Grade III performance standards. Advantages: ST Cut of grades 52, 53, 54, 55 and 67 have proven to be excellent general purpose straight cutting oils with a satisfactory performance over a wide range of machine tool speeds and cutting depths. Their high weld load properties enable machining under the most arduous metal working operations on tough ferrous metals, resulting in longer service life of cutting tools. They impart an excellent surface finish on worked metal components. They cause very low active sulphur drop-outs, leading to sustained EP properties. They are cost-effective in operations, helping to reduce maintenance costs, which in turn has made them industry favourites and reduced the number of cutting oil grades in use.
Loom Oils comprise of a range of lubricants which have been specifically designed for oil loss systems of textile looms. These oils have adequate film forming property and provide better lubrication. These are user friendly. The grades have been formulated to perform well both for boundary as well as full fluid lubrication conditions. Loom Oils are generally suggested for non-critical all loss lubrication systems of textile and other looms which do not require additive containing oil. Loom Oil can also be used for other oiling applications of some equipment.
